We test the purchase path — not just your homepage

A homepage scan says little about whether a customer can actually buy from you. Every audit forces in the pages where customers transact and operates them in a real browser.

Cart and checkout

Quantity controls, coupon and address fields, error messages, the order button — reached and operated by keyboard.

Login and registration

Labels, required-field and error handling, password controls, focus order.

Search and product pages

Search fields, filters and sorting, image galleries, tabs and add-to-cart controls.

Contact and other forms

Every form we can discover is submitted empty and with errors to see what a screen reader user is told.

Steps we cannot reach without an account or a payment are named in the report as not tested — never silently skipped.

Received a demand letter?

Talk to an attorney first — we are not a law firm and nothing here is legal advice. What we provide is the technical record your attorney and your developers will need.

What is actually on your site

Every confirmed failure with the page, the element, the WCAG 2.1 AA criterion and the evidence — so the allegations in the letter can be checked against a documented, reproducible audit.

A remediation plan

Prioritized code fixes your developers can apply in your own source, plus a guided checklist for the criteria that need human judgment.

A dated record of the work

After the fixes, a re-audit shows what was resolved and what remains open — a before-and-after record of remediation.

An audit does not resolve a legal claim and cannot guarantee that you will not be sued. It gives you an accurate picture of your site and documented evidence of remediation — the parts you control.

What makes this different

Every point below is a deliberate engineering decision, not a marketing line.

Smart scoping — you pay for structure, not page count

A 10,000-page shop doesn't need 10,000 audits. We group pages into templates and audit representative examples — our page selection follows the representative-sampling principle of WCAG-EM — while forcing in every page that always matters: checkout, login, contact, legal, search.

Every language version, not just one

A site in three languages usually gets audited in one. But translated pages break in their own ways — a wrong lang attribute, buttons that overflow once the text is longer, error messages nobody translated. We audit your main language version in full and sample each of the others; every page we check is listed in your quote before you pay.

Real code, matched to your stack

We detect what your site is built with and write fixes for it — WordPress, Shopify, React or plain HTML. Not "add an ARIA label", but the actual snippet, with the element and page it belongs to.

We interact with your site, not just read it

We tab through your interface looking for keyboard traps, submit your forms empty to see whether errors are announced, shrink the viewport to 320 pixels, enlarge text by 200%, and check videos for captions. That goes beyond what basic DOM-only scanning covers.

Built in the EU, to GDPR standards

Your site data and reports are hosted in the EU under GDPR-grade safeguards; AI analysis, payments and email may be processed outside the EEA by the providers named in our privacy policy.

Re-audits that only charge for change

Fixed something? A re-audit reuses the results for pages that haven't changed and re-tests only what has. You get a clear before-and-after diff and a much smaller invoice.

Pay per audit — the price is on the screen, not behind a form

No "request a demo", no annual contract, no per-seat license, nothing that renews. You see the page list and the exact figure before paying — and you pay again only when you choose to re-audit.

Three steps, no surprises

You never pay before you know the price and exactly which pages we will audit.

  1. Free homepage scan

Enter your address. We render the page in a real browser, run the full tool suite, and show you a score with its coverage breakdown plus your most serious issues.

    About 2 minutes · free

  2. Transparent quote

We map your site's structure and show you the exact pages we would audit, why each one was chosen, and the price. Accept it or walk away — nothing happens until you do.

You see the page list and price up front

  3. Full audit and fixes

We audit every page in scope, remove duplicates across the site, and deliver a report with developer-ready code fixes where a safe remediation can be recommended, verification steps for the rest, and a checklist of what still needs a human.

What lands in your inbox

Executive PDF report

Score, coverage, issues by severity, and the legal context for your country — written for the person who has to sign something off.

Code fixes per issue

The element, the page, the criterion it breaks, and a fix written for your technology — ready for your developer or agency.

Task file for AI coding agents

The same fixes as one task per confirmed defect, in a file you can hand to an AI coding agent. Unconfirmed findings are kept out of the task list. A re-audit then shows what was resolved.

Coverage statement

Exactly which criteria were tested automatically, which partly, and which were not — technical findings and documented limitations as a working basis for your accessibility statement. Not legal advice, and not a substitute for a full manual conformance evaluation.

Manual test checklist

Step-by-step instructions for the checks software cannot do, so you can complete the picture yourself or hand it to a specialist.

Pay per audit. No subscription, no enterprise contract.

You buy an audit when you need one — no monthly fee, no annual contract, no sales call. The price depends on your site's structure: how many distinct page templates it has, and how complex they are. You always see the exact figure, and the pages it covers, before paying.

Who this is for

Built for businesses that need documented technical findings — not a compliance badge.

  • US businesses that want documented WCAG 2.1 AA evidence to reduce ADA litigation exposure
  • Operators of Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce or Magento stores
  • Retail, hospitality, travel and other consumer-facing businesses that sell or book online
  • Web agencies that need client-ready technical reports

For agencies

Built to work with agencies — not against them

Most accessibility work on client sites is done by agencies. We give your team the automated evidence layer, so your experts spend their time on judgment — not on hunting for every missing label.

  • A client-ready first pass

Representative pages, proven findings with evidence, and fixes written for the client's technology — a report you can hand over or build on.

  • Your expertise on top

Every report ends in a guided manual checklist for the criteria no machine can decide — exactly where your team's review adds the value.

  • Proof that fixes landed

Re-audit after remediation and show the client what was resolved, what is new and what is still open.

  • Quote it per project

One-time pricing per site, shown before payment — no subscription to resell. Auditing sites regularly? Ask us about volume terms.

How the options compare

Four approaches — and they aren't either-or. Many agencies run our automated audit first, then add their own expert review and screen-reader testing on top. Here's how each one compares.

Comparison of overlay widgets, automated scanners, this service, and manual expert audits
Comparison criterion Overlay widget Cheap scanner This service Manual expert audit
Typical price A monthly subscription, for as long as the widget runs $50–150 one-off or yearly From $149 once Often from ~$3,000
What you get A JavaScript widget A list of automated errors Report, code fixes, manual checklist Expert conformance report
How it scores you Claims compliance Usually against all 50 criteria Only against what was tested Expert judgment
Site coverage Every page, superficially A page limit you pay per Representative templates + key pages A sample chosen by hand
Human judgment & screen-reader testing No No Guided checklist — not performed for you Included
Formal conformance conclusion Claims it — unsupportably No No — documented technical findings Possible
Time to result Minutes (but nothing is fixed) Minutes Hours Several days to weeks

Typical market prices, checked August 2026.

An overlay is not a fix.

Accessibility widgets promise compliance in a line of JavaScript. They do not deliver it: they sit on top of the problem, and screen reader users routinely report that they make things worse.

We do the opposite. We tell you which element on which page breaks which success criterion, and give you the code to repair it in your own source. When you fix it, it stays fixed — with or without us.

The public record

Our signature difference

Complete coverage. Proven findings. A score you can defend.

WCAG 2.1 AA has 50 success criteria, and every report addresses all of them: each one is machine-verified, AI-reviewed, marked not present when we find no such content on your site (such as video), or turned into a guided manual test step. Nothing is silently skipped.

Anyone promising 100% automated compliance is selling you a liability — no software can judge whether alt text is accurate or captions are correct. Our score counts only failures a machine has proven: every verified finding is reproducible in a real browser, with the evidence attached. That makes it a number you can explain to a customer, to your own attorney or to opposing counsel.

Before a check may count as proof, it is validated against real websites of every major platform — and every verified finding in your report carries the evidence to check it yourself.

A lower, defensible number is worth more than a flattering one — especially if you ever have to explain it.

How every report covers all 50 criteria

Machine-verifiable — scored where your site has such content
22
Reviewed, not scored
21
Guided manual check
7

The counts show the most the audit can decide. On your site a criterion is scored only where there is content to test, so a report may score fewer and says why. Criteria about content we find no trace of — such as video — are marked not present, with a note on how to double-check. Everything else comes with a step-by-step manual test, so nothing is silently skipped.

In the United States, website accessibility exposure is driven less by a regulator and more by private litigation: lawsuits and demand letters that reference WCAG. The Department of Justice's 2024 rule under ADA Title II codifies WCAG 2.1 AA for state and local government websites; for private businesses no technical standard is codified, but WCAG 2.1 AA is the de facto reference. Whether and how the ADA applies to your business must be assessed case by case.

What's actually required

There is no official certification. What helps in practice: documented technical findings against WCAG 2.1 AA, evidence of remediation work, and a precise record of what remains open — which is exactly what this audit produces.

You probably don't need panic. You need to know exactly where you stand, in writing, with a plan to fix it — before someone else tells you.

Straight answers

Does this make my website legally compliant?

No tool can promise that, and you should be skeptical of any that does — that claim is exactly what the FTC fined an overlay vendor for. What we give you is a documented, defensible assessment of where your site stands against WCAG 2.1 AA, the fixes to close the gaps we found, and a checklist for the criteria that require human judgment. That is the credible basis an accessibility statement is supposed to rest on.

What exactly can't be tested automatically?

7 of the 50 criteria are left entirely to a person because no automated check examines them — for example whether keyboard focus moves in a meaningful order, whether error messages suggest a correction, or whether a gesture-based control has a single-pointer alternative. Another 21 are examined only by advisory checks or AI review, so they are reported but never scored. You get a guided checklist for the manual ones, so you know precisely what is left and how to check it.

Where is my data stored?

In the EU. We store the pages we audited, the screenshots we captured, and your report. We do not sell or share data, and you can request deletion at any time. Only your homepage address is needed to begin.

Do you need access to my site or a plugin installed?

No. We audit your site exactly as a visitor sees it — no plugin, no code change, no credentials. If part of your site sits behind a login, tell us: those pages appear in the report as a manual testing activity rather than being silently skipped.

How do you decide which pages to audit?

We crawl your site, group pages that share a template, and audit representative examples of each — our page selection follows the representative-sampling principle described in WCAG-EM. On top of that we prioritize the key pages that can be discovered — homepage, checkout, login, registration, contact, legal and search — and clearly record any flows we could not reach without credentials or external navigation. The full list is shown to you in the quote before you pay.

I'm an agency with several clients. Can I use this?

Yes, and it's designed for it. Each client site is separate, the reports carry no visible tooling branding in the findings themselves, and one-time pricing means you can quote a client per audit rather than reselling a subscription. Get in touch if you audit sites regularly — we can arrange volume terms.
